ECS Tuning Ultimate Timing Belt Kit - 1.8T 150/180/225
A kit which include all the necessary timing components and seals.
The experts at ECS Tuning have assembled this kit of all the necessities for your timing belt replacement. With everything that you need for job, it is guaranteed to go more smoothly.
Though not necessary according to Volkswagen, ECS Tuning has included a water pump and thermostat in this kit to make sure you will not have to open your timing belt cover later on to replace. Might as well do it all when it's apart, right?
ECS Tuning has also included the accessory drive belt. All these items included in the kit are reaching the end of their usable life. Best to do it now than later down the road.

- Tensioner Roller
- Tensioner assembly
- Idler roller (comes on the tensioner assembly)
- Water pump
- Accessory drive belt

- Motor mount bolts (7)
- Camshaft seal
- Crankshaft seal
This kit does not come with coolant
Notes: Not suitable for BJX, BKV, BBU engines used in the Ibiza and Polo Models
Water Pump notes: The reason we do not include a 'metal impeller' type water pump is that the plastic ones have improved significantly over the years and there has been an increase in the number of leaking bearings we have seen with the metal impeller type.
